Chittaranjan Locomotive Works is a state-owned electric locomotive manufacturer in India. It is located at Chittaranjan in Asansol in West Bengal. It is one of the largest locomotive manufacturers in the world. Chittaranjan Locomotive Works has released the notification for the recruitment of 615 Apprentice vacancies.

CLW was founded in 1947.  The Vacancies are for NCVT & Non-ITI in Fitter, Electrician, Ref. & A.C. Mechanic, Turner, Machinist, Welder (G & E), Painter (G) trades.Get all the details for CLW vacancy 2015 and Railway apprentice 2015 application form at official website clw.indianrailways.gov.in.

Total no. of Posts to be filled:  615 Apprentice Posts

Important Dates for CLW Recruitment 2015:

Starting Date for Submission of Application form: 24th July 2015.
Last Date for Submission of Application: 24th August 2015 upto 5pm

Age Limit for clw railway recruitment 2015:

For Post A- Candidates should be between 15-24 years.
For post B– 15-22 years as on 01-07-2015.
Age relaxation is applicable 10 years for PwD & for Ex-Servicemen as per govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Post A- Candidates should possess ITI Examination with Certificate in the relevant branch/trade of study.
For post B– Matriculation/ 10th class in 10+2 exam or equivalent examination from Recognized Board of India.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination or 10th class in the 10+2 Examination system and also, relevant ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

3. Machinist: 56 Posts
4. Welder (G & E): 88 Posts
5. Electrician: 112 Posts

B. Non-ITI: 123 Posts

1. Fitter: 50 Posts
2. Turner: 05 Posts
3. Machinist: 14 Posts
4. Welder (G & E): 22 Posts
5. Electrician: 28 Posts
