CM Naveen Patnaik inaugurated first women University in Odisha

Odisha government take a step forward to empower women by providing them better chances of education. Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik inaugurated first Women University in India. This University named after Maa Rama devi. She was a great freedom fighter and social reformer.

According to Press report of India, Naveen Patnaik said the “social impact of women’s education is greater than that of men in society”. He pointed out that women’s involvement is higher education is lesser then mans.

Later Patnaik said about Maa Rama Devi, he Said that she was a role model for women in the state. “I hope, Rama Devi Women’s University will be able to bring qualitative changes among its students, and gradually evolve as an institute that inspires the aspirations of women in Odisha,” Patnaik Said

The Chief Minister said that the main motive behind this University is increate the involvement of women in Higher education. This University helps women in to get good quality education in Haryana. University will initiate the studies on women’s empowerment, gender equality and allow our young women for frontward movement in society.
