Crisis in Higher Education in India : More Students Going Abroad For Higher Studies

Number of Indian Students going to us had increased by 30%. And the arrival of foreign students to India has dropped harshly, according to government.

A report which is published by time of India, according to that report Students coming to India from other countries dropped by 73 Percent in last 2 years. Or Indian students going to abroad for study has been risen up by almost 30%. Almost 1.33 lakhs Indian Students are studying in United States. In 1995 only 39000 students were in foreign countries but this number is in 2012 became 1,89,472.

“This decline is education because of India has Shortage of facilities and capable faculty and lack of govt. efforts is also a reason behind this”. According to an article which was published in The Hindustan Times.

A huge Number of Indian students going to abroad one of the reason behind this may be the see better scope and opportunity in foreign university.

These numbers projecting a miserable picture of the Indian education system, government has to some quick action to solve this and the quickest solution could be government hiring better faculty members in universities, providing better infrastructure, setting up more universities, Quality education and more labs and research centers.
