EAMCET-II Paper leak confirmed: Telangana government to hold EAMCET Exam 3rd Time

EAMCET exam organized twice in 2016 due to many reasons. But, nown there is a confimed news for EAMCET-II paper leak. Two sets of medical exam question papers of Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (Eamcet) were found to be leaked to students. The Telangana government on 2nd August cancelled a state-level medical and dental entrance examination after a leak of question papers.

The government of Telangana on Tuesday decided to again hold the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET-II) in wake of the state CID’s probe report stating that the question papers were leaked. This is the second time cancellation in a year, means students aspiring for undergraduate medical and dental courses in Telangana will have to take their third entrance test in a year.

Telangana CID conducted a probe and submitted a report on TS eamcet paper leak recently. CID confirms EAMCET question paper leak and 3 taken into custody for these paper leak. The Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held a review meeting of the ministers and officials concerned on Tuesday. The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET-II) examination, EAMCET-II 3rd exam date will be released soon. Schedule for the fresh eamcet examination will be announced soon, a statement for the chief minister’s office said.

About the EAMCET exam 2016 & Telangana Eamcet exam date:

The EAMCET-II was conducted on 9th July 2016 for entry into medical and dental colleges and the Eamcet results were declared on 13th July 2016. This exam was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad.
The chief minister said in the statement- “It is unfortunate and painful incident (leakage of question paper). In the wake of leakage of the paper we have no option but to conduct EAMCET once again. I request students and parents to understand the situation and cooperate with the Government”.
EAMCET case Investigation had revealed that about 200 students and their parents allegedly colluded with various brokers involved in the whole process.

According to reports, few candidates, who got a rank in thousands in Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, had got a rank below 500 in Telangana EAMCET-II Ranks. Students who appeared for the exams under stress as they had to write the same exam twice. Also, they appeared for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- NEET.
