Haryana Board of Secondary Education was founded in 1969. Every year, HBSE conducts various exams for the students of Haryana. The Haryana National Scholarship Portal exam organised in June 2016. National Scholarship Portal is an E-Government Portal for the process of Automation and effective Management of Process. HBSE is the first Board to introduce relative grading, CCE (Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation) system. Board has adopted the semester system from session 2006-2007. Recently,  Top 20 Percentile of National Scholarship is announced by Hbse Board.
