J&K govt guides education dept to make schools tech-friendly

In an attempt to change education system, Jammu and Kashmir government decide to use technology in schools to improve the quality of education. According press reports, Priya sethi (State minister of Information, Education and Culture), visited the schools beside of border in rural areas and said that the J&K government has started setting new standards in state’s education sector.

The Minister said that the government has started various processes to improve education sector so that the students in Jammu and Kashmir can race with students in other states of the country. She also asked to school principals to install internet connection in schools.

The Minister said that the chages such as smart classrooms, model schools, cluster universities and other such measures are going to happen in improving the excellence of education.

Earlier, on November 22, J&K Deputy Chief Minister had said that the government giving main priority to the education system. Many new initiatives are being in use to improve the quality of education.

Singh, while speaking after inaugurating additional classrooms had said that “the initiative is also being taken to facilitate schools in the far flung areas of the state so that students do not need to travel for quality education.”
