Smart Classrooms In J&K Schools By March 2016

J&K government is all set to build new smart classroom in more than 200 schools by March 2016. The official announcement is made by the J&K state government on 28 December. According to PTI reports, Minister of State for Education and Culture, Priya Sethi said, “The schools in the state will be ICT-enabled. In the first phase, 220 schools across J&K will be covered under the programme by March 2016.”

The Government of India has approved this idea now in Jammu state more than 220 schools will be part of this scheme. The initiative of this is under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Information Communication Technology (ICT).

Smart class is an advanced technology execution for schools, which provides tools and technology for the students that makes study more interesting. These classrooms are also called digital or new media classrooms. Smart classroom is less with the all latest technology such as video lecture, internet.

It’s a part of Digital education of India. India is growing really fast, recently Smriti irani (Hrd minister) launches first app which provide e-books for the cbse students. Now J&K government decide to build new digital class rooms. These initiative will surely help in improving our education standards.
